MANUFACTURER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Avidyne introduces two new products:

1.The MLB700 Broadcast Datalink Receiver, which delivers quality graphical weather from WSI InFlight and can also supply audio entertainment via SIRIUS Satellite Radio.  The MLB700 will be available in two versions:  weather only or weather and satellite radio.  The MLB700 will display weather data on either the Avidyne EX500 or EX5000 MFD’s.  The MLB700 is projected to be available in Q3 of 2007.

2.The TWX670 Tactical Weather Detection System is a second generation lightning-based weather detection system that provides a simple and intuitive color-contoured display with instantaneous picture of the surrounding weather.  The TWX670 is the first and only lightning-based, real time, tactical, color weather avoidance solution.  The system will detect and clearly display electrical discharges – in real time, regardless of aircraft maneuvering.  The TWX670 will display on the Avidyne Multi-Hazard Display (MHD) and is expected to available on the Avidyne EX500 or EX5000 MFD’s.  The system is projected to be available late Q4 of 2007 or early Q1 of 2008.

TESTIMONIAL

“...........I’ve also found a new rising star for pressurized piston twin avionics work – Mayday Avionics at GRR (Grand Rapids, MI) – who are currently performing a complete avionics retrofit on our Cessna 340A.  All facets of this job are truly of large-turbine aircraft quality.  The drawings, engineering, harness assembly and craftsmanship are all of big-shop standards.  Mayday has been vigilant in updating, cleaning and rerouting the existing wires and controls.  I don’t have a completion photo yet, but as the old saying goes, “Beauty is only skin deep!””
