The GPS 500 utilizes the newly installed Garmin GAD 42 and two Sandia AIS 240-35 remote Relay Switching Units to display its steering information on the pilot’s HSI/Autopilot. The GPS 500 is interfaced with the newly installed WX500 Stormscope and SkyWatch HP 899 Processors and receives a signal from the newly installed GA 56 GPS antenna. The WX-500 is located in the nose avionics compartment and displays its information on the newly installed GPS 500. The L-3 TRC899 is located in the nose avionics compartment and displays its information on the newly installed GPS 500. The AV-200 system is located in the nose avionics compartment and will display its data on a portable Electronic Flight Bag or a similar device appropriately programmed to interpret the AV-200 data.

The GPS 400 utilizes a newly installed Mid-Continent MD 41-1408A external GPS Annunciation Control Unit and Sandia AIS 240-35 remote Relay Switch Unit to display its Nav steering information on the Pilot’s HSI. The GPS 400 is interfaced with the newly installed Avidyne EX500 MFD and receives a signal from the newly installed GA 56 GPS antenna. The EX 500 will act as the display and control for the existing onboard weather radar system. The EX 500 also displays satellite weather information supplied by the XMD-076.

The GNS 530W displays its NAV/GPS steering information on the newly installed Mid-Continent MD222-406 two-inch CDI. The GNS 530W is also interfaced to the newly installed Chelton EFIS, the EX 500 MFD, and the existing GMA 340 Audio Panel and L-3 Avionics SkyWatch 497. The EX500 will perform all weather radar functions of the existing ART 2000 weather radar system, display satellite weather provided by the XMD 076-1, and display traffic information from the existing SkyWatch 497 TAS.
The Chelton FlightLogic synthetic vision EFIS consists of: the panel mounted IDU-III primary flight display (PFD) and multi function display (MFD); and the remote mounted Crossbow AHRS 500GA-222 attitude/heading reference system (AHRS), Crossbow CRM 500GA-200 Magnetometer, Shadin ADC 2000 air data computer (ADC) w/OAT probe, FreeFlight GPS-WAAS receiver with the Aero 81194 antenna, and the Artex AIU-1 analog interface unit. The EFIS receives its VHF NAV data from the Garmin GNS 530W and is interfaced with the Bendix M4D Autopilot. The directional/attitude information will be provided to the EFIS by the AHRS unit. The systems airspeed, altitude, and vertical speed data is derived from the ADC 2000, while the terrain display is based on an internal terrain database and GPS position information.

Installed a Garmin GNS 530W GPS/WAAS Navigation System as the #1 NAV/COM. The GNS 530W is located in the left avionics stack below the audio panel. It displays its NAV/GPS steering information on the Pilot’s EHSI which is interfaced with the existing KFC 325 Autopilot System. The GNS 530W is also interfaced to the existing encoder, WX 500 Stormscope, Ryan 9900B TCAD, KMA 24H Audio Panel, KN 63 DME, KI 229 RMI and the newly installed GNS 430W, GMX 200 MFD, and GDL 69 XM Weather Datalink.
Installed a Garmin GNS 430W GPS/WAAS Navigation System as the #2 NAV/COM. The GNS 430W is located at the top of the right avionics stack. It will display its NAV/GPS steering information on the pilot’s EHSI which is interfaced with the existing KFC 325 Autopilot System. The NAV/ GPS steering information can also be displayed on the copilot’s HSI. The pilot’s CDI can display the VHF NAV data from the GNS 430W. The GNS 430W is also interfaced to the existing KN 40 NAV Converter for DME Channeling, KMA 24H Audio Panel, Encoder, 9900B TCAD, WX 500 Stormscope, and the newly installed GNS 530W.
Installed a Garmin GMX 200 Multi-Function Display (MFD) and GDL 69A XM Weather/Radio Datalink Receiver. The GMX 200 is located in the left avionics stack below the GNS 530W. The GMX 200 MFD moving map display is based on Nav information it receives from the GNS 530W. The GMX 200 is the control and display for satellite weather data supplied from the newly installed GDL 69A. The GMX 200 is also interfaced with the existing WX 500 Stormscope and 9900B TCAD. The GDL 69 can also display its data on the GNS 530W. The GDL 69A provides satellite radio audio through the existing intercom system.

The directional/attitude information will be provided to the GDU 620 Display by the AHRS unit. The systems airspeed, altitude, vertical speed, and OAT data is derived from the GDC 74A air data computer. The GAD 43 provides analog attitude information to the existing KFC 150 Autopilot. The GAD 43 interfaces to the GDU 620 for configuration and alerting and with the GRS 77 for attitude and heading input information. The G500 System is also interfaced to the existing PMA 8000B Audio Panel, the SkyWatch 497 Traffic Advisory System, WX-500 Stormscope, Shadin Trend Monitor, KAS 297 Altitude Preselector, and the newly installed GTX 330D Transponder.

The Garmin GNS 530W GPS/WAAS Navigation System also displays bearing information on the copilots RMI by utilizing a Garmin GAD 42 Interface Adaptor. The GNS 530W is interfaced to the newly installed GMA 340 Audio Panel, #1 GTX 330 Transponder, GNS 430W, and the existing Collins DME 40, and Sandel ST3400 TAWS.
The Garmin GNS 430W GPS/WAAS Navigation System can also display GPS/NAV steering information on the copilots HSI and bearing information on the copilots RMI by utilizing a Garmin GAD 42 Interface Adaptor. The GNS 430W is also interfaced with the GMA 340 Audio Panel, #2 GTX 330 Transponder, and the GNS 530W.
The Avidyne EX 500 MFD performs all weather radar functions of the existing Bendix RDR-1200 Weather Radar System. It is also interfaced to the existing SkyWatch 497 Traffic Advisory System and can display satellite weather data from the newly installed XMD-076A XM Satellite Weather/Radio Datalink Receiver. The XMD-076A will also provide satellite radio audio through the GMA 340 Audio Panel.

The GDU 620 PFD and MFD are located in a side by side configuration in the pilot’s instrument panel in place of the existing primary instruments. The AHRS and ADC are located in the nose avionics compartment and the Magnetometer in the left wing. The G600 system receives its GPS or VHF NAV data from the newly installed Garmin GNS 430W and is interfaced with the Collins AP-106 Autopilot System. The CDI Nav Source Select soft key (GPS1, and VOR/LOC1 annunciate) and the GPS alert annunciators; MSG, WPT, TERM, INTEG, and APPR are located within the GDU 620 display. The directional/attitude information will be provided to the GDU 620 Display by the AHRS unit. The systems airspeed, altitude, vertical speed, and OAT data is derived from the GDC 74A air data computer. The G600 System is also interfaced to the audio system and the GDL 69 XM Weather Datalink Receiver.
The existing Airspeed Indicator and Altimeter were reinstalled as Standby Instruments. A new Sigma-Tek 5000B-46 Standby Attitude Gyro has also been installed. The Attitude Gyro, Altimeter, and Airspeed Indicator are located directly below the GDU 620.
The GNS 430W will display its NAV/GPS steering information on the pilot’s G600 display. The GPS-WAAS status annunciations are displayed within the G600 display. The GNS 430W is also interfaced to the existing audio system, KMD 850 MFD, and the newly installed GDL 69 XM Weather Datalink.
The GDL 69 is installed in the nose avionics compartment and displays data on the Garmin G600 and GNS 430W.

The existing Altimeter was reinstalled as a standby instrument, a new Mid-Continent MD4300 Electric Attitude Gyro and MD25-200 2" Airspeed Indicator were installed as standby instruments – all standbys are located to the left of the GDU 620.
The Garmin GTS 800 Traffic Avoidance System consists of the GTS 800 TAS Processor, Panel Mounted: TRFC ON/OFF switch and MUTE Switch; along with, the Garmin GA 58 top mount directional antenna. The GTS 800 Processor is located in the tail on an existing shelf. Traffic data from the GTS 800 is controlled and displayed on the Garmin G500, GNS 530W, or GNS 430W.
Installed a Garmin GNS 530W GPS/WAAS Navigation System as the #1 NAV/COM and is located in the left avionics stack below the autopilot computer. It displays its NAV/GPS steering information on the G500 System. The GNS 530W is also interfaced to the newly installed GMA 340 Audio Panel, GNS 430W, GTS 800 TAS, GDL 69A Datalink, and existing DME & Shadin ETM.
Installed a new Garmin GNS 430W GPS/WAAS Navigation System as the #2 NAV/COM and is located in the left avionics stack below the 530W. It will display its NAV/GPS steering information on the pilot’s G500 System. The GNS 430W is also interfaced to the newly installed GMA 340 Audio Panel, GNS 530W, GTS 800 TAS, GDL 69A Datalink, and existing DME & Shadin ETM.
Installed a Garmin GDL 69A XM Weather/Radio Datalink Receiver on an existing shelf in the tail. The GDL 69A weather data can be controlled and displayed by the Garmin G500 display, GNS 530W, or the GNS 430W. The GDL 69A will also provide satellite radio audio through the intercom system.
